At Phil Burt Innovation, we offer a number of fit options to suit every requirement. However, every fit follows the same structured process—but no two outcomes are alike. Why? Because the process adapts to you. Our expertise lies in using data and experience to prioritise where your time, effort, and investment will have the biggest impact.
At the PBI clinic, every bike fit starts with the same foundation: a complete, science-driven process that adapts to you—your goals, your body and your riding style. No guesswork. Just a clear, evidence-based path to a better ride. One Process. Infinite Possibilities. Every rider goes through the same core steps—whether in person or remote:
01. Goal Definition
We begin by understanding what you want from your fit. We have perfected this and every decision flows from this.
02. Off-Bike Assessment
We assess your mobility, posture, and physical condition to uncover key factors that influence your position.
03. On-Bike Analysis
Using motion capture and saddle pressure mapping our expert eye sees how you move on the bike in real time.
04. Adjustments & Insights
We use our findings to guide targeted changes to your position and equipment—always with your goal in mind.
05. Bike Fit Plan
Delivery of bike fit plan and advice on how to accommodate this appropriately for both you and your personal set up.
06. Feedback & Follow-Up
We actively encourage you tell us how the interventions are or aren’t working. If further referral is needed we will be arranging this.
Which Bike Fit is for you?
We do not charge extra for cleat setup, pressure mapping, aero tweaks, or other “extras,” we believe in a comprehensive fit that includes everything from the start. If you’re unable to visit us in person at the Manchester Institute of Health and Performance, you can now access a professional bike fit with Phil Burt from anywhere in the world through our remote consultation service.
